He stepped off his ship onto the dry surface of Mercution-ury and headed directly towards the capital; Mercution-ury York, Mercution-ury. Holden knew what he had to do. He had discovered that there was no cure to Mercution's virus, and the only way to save the galaxy now was to end Mercution's life once and for all.
Once in the city, he didn't need to look hard to find Mercution, as it was obvious where he lived. Directly in the center of the city was a giant golden tower in the form of Mercution himself. A monument to his great destructive power.
As Holden walked towards the tower, he noticed something very mysterious. Out of every door, citizens were stepping out and just standing there, creating a straight path for Holden to the tower. They didn't talk, they only watched. Holden noticed they were beginning to transform. Their skin began to peel away, revealing a body of pure metal. Mercution's virus had already taken the planet, and the effects were truly astounding. Holden began his climb up the golden stairs and into the tower.
"HOLDEN, WAIT!!!" a very familiar and jiggly, yet somewhat less jiggly than usual, voice shouted. Holden turned to see Cleopatra running towards him, jiggling all over; she wasn't even wearing a bra. "HOLDEN! I... I did what you said. I put on a shirt!"
Holden tried his best to look away. "That's great Mom, but, well, um, never mind."
"Holden, I'm here to help you. Together we can kill Mercution and end this once and for all."
"Yeah Mom, that's great and all, but, oh, never mind. Let's go."
They ran up the stairs and into the tower. The heavy doors slammed shut behind them. Everything inside was shrouded in darkness except for two chairs located in the very center of the entrance hall. Sitting in the left was Mercution, grimacing at Holden. On the right sat the most horrid and disgusting thing Holden had ever seen. It was even worse than Dlanor.
"Hello, Holden. I see you've finally made it, and you brought some help. Nice to see you, Cleopatra. Now Holden, It appears that this is the end. Only one of us can make it out of here alive, and I can assure you that it will be me. I have seen to it. I'm sure you've noticed our friend here. I know you recognize him. Don't you Holden? He recognizes you, I'm sure. Don't you, Dlanor?"
The creature lifted its head and Holden got a clear look at its face. Its entire body had been mutilated and torn apart. Pieces of metal were grafted onto its body in apparently random places.
"Holden? Why are you sorry? Why, Holden? Where's your dad? Holden?"
Holden stood, his mouth agape. It couldn't be. "Mercution!" he shouted. "What did you do to him?!"
"Nothing. I merely used the bits of him that you shattered across the galaxy to rebuild him as he was before his atomization. This is the true Dlanor, connected to everything and powerful enough to use this connection to infuse every living creature in the galaxy with my virus.
"YOU MONSTER!" Holden screamed.
"Oh, come now Holden. That response is so cliché. Now, why don't you just sit down and relax. It will all be over soon."
"How 'bout you sit down and relax," muttered Holden.
Mercution pushed a button on his chair and another popped out of the ground directly beneath Holden. Before he knew what to do, he was locked into the chair. Cleopatra jumped out of the way--it just in time for a second chair to miss her--and ran out of the tower.

"SSSSsssssir SSSSSSssssssshale I got getttttt her?" asked Dlanor.
"No, I need you here. She won't come back, and, if she does, I'll take care of her. Now, why don't you show our good pal Holden here your little trick."
Dlanor stood feebly and pointed at Holden. "It wasn't me, Holden. It wasn't me," he said with a great thrill. A powerful beam shot form Dlanor's hand and hit Holden square in the chest. He cried out in agony.
"Please! You have to to to to to to tooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BBBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!" Holden screamed as his body morphed into metal and his eyes began to glow red. Dlanor stopped and returned to his seat. The shackles on Holden's chair retracted and Mercution stepped towards him.
"It's okay, you don't have to worry anymore Holden. You're one of us now, and soon the whole galaxy will share in our joy."
"Mercution BEEP you'll pay BOOP for this BAP you stupid, um, ugly, um, Dlanor help me out here." Dlanor just watched in silence. "Um, DANGIT! I'm too flustered. I can only imagine how hideous I look," Holden whispered.
"And who's going to stop me? Not you! In fifteen minutes you will be fully succumbed by evil, Cleopatra left you, and Dlanor here certainly isn't going to help. He's under my full control. There's nothing you can do," laughed Mercution.
BANG! The wall burst open and a future truck, piloted by none other than Cleopatra, came flying in. She drove into Dlanor, crushing him to death, and jumped out of the truck without one single jiggle.
"HOLDEN!" she screamed. "I GOT A BRA!"
"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" screamed Mercution. "I DON'T NEED DLANOR ANYMORE! IN TEN MINUTES HOLDEN, NOW THE MOST POWERFUL BEING IN THE GALAXY CONSIDERING DLANOR'S DEATH, WILL BE UNDER MY CONTROL!"
Cleopatra ran at Mercution, screaming. She grabbed him and threw him to the side. She knelt down by Holden and grabbed his hands. "Holden, you need to be strong! You need to fight this! AHHH!" Mercution grabbed her by the hair and walked her across the room to the hole in the wall she had created. He held her over the ground below.
"This is why we broke up! You're so whiny and annoying," he said "just like your mother! MY LOYAL FOLLOWERS! I BRING YOU A FEAST!" He let go of Cleopatra, but a moment later a metallic hand reached out and grabbed her arm.
"I got you, Mom," Holden said, lifting her to safety.
"What! But Holden, you're mine!" Mercution shouted.
"No Mercution, I'm NOT yours! Nobody can own something this good." Holden grabbed Mercution and lifted him into the air. He threw him to the ravenous robot citizens, and turned to Cleopatra. "Mom, we need to leave. There are escape pods over there!" he said, pointing towards two doors in the wall. He could see the metal slowly growing over his skin. It would only be a matter of minutes before he was completely consumed.
"Really?"
"Yeah, they're closet escape pods!" Holden shouted, but knowing oh too well that only one of them was a pod and that if he wanted to live he would have to leave his mother behind.
They ran to the doors and Holden told the now not jiggly Cleopatra to enter the left door, the door containing the broom closet.
"No, Holden! I can't leave you!"
"Mom BOP it's okay. They are totally both escape pods. I'll see you BEEP in a minute. Just close your eyes and push the red button that's totally there. You might have to feel around for a while. It's probably hidden behind some brooms or something," he said as they both entered their respective doors.
"But Holden, I can't find it."
"Just keep looking. I'm sure it's totally there BOOP."
"Holden, I can't--oh wait, here it is!"
"Wait, what!?" Holden exclaimed, realizing that he was in the broom closet. "Mom, wait! I need to tell you something!"
"Bye Holden. See you in a few!"
"Seriously BOP Mom! Don't go!"
"Too late, I already pushed it!"
"The cancel button Mom. It's like, two future inches to the left of the red button."
"Don't see that one!"
"MOM, IT'S PULSING GREEN AND FIVE TIMES THE SIZE OF THE LAUNCH ONE BEEP!"
"Nope, not here."
"Are you even looking?" Holden asked, trying the open the door. It was too late. Mercution's virus had reached his brains motor center. He could barely move.
"What was that? I'm texting someone. Can you get back to me later?"
"MOM! TEXTING? WHO?"
"Oh, didn't I tell you? I'm dating this really cool dude called The Rock. He's a movie star and everything. You would love him."
"Mom!" Holden's entire lower half was completely metal now. He could no longer walk."
"Bye Holdeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnn!" A loud rumbling echoed through the tower as Cleopatra's escape pod launched, her voice fading away.
"I have no other choice," Holden realized. "I'm more machine than man now. I'll fix this lik I fix all computer problems. I'll just turn myself off, and then someone else can come and turn me back on later. I'm sure Dlanor will do it or something. I mean, he totally owes me."
Holden reached behind his neck and pushed the power button that had formed, and his vision faded to blackness.
